Andhra Pori Shooting Completed

Renowned producer and chairman of Prasad studios, Ramesh Prasad, is producing a movie titled 'Andhra Pori' under Prasad Productions banner. Puri Jagannadh's son Aakash Puri and Ulka Gupta are playing the lead pair in this movie and Raj Madiraju is the director. 

The shooting of the film, which was done in Palwancha, Bhadrachalam and the surrounding areas, was completed on March 1st and a press meet was held by the team in Palwancha. 

Ramesh Prasad said, "This is a very special day in the journey of Prasad Productions. 'Andhra Pori' is the 30th film coming from our banner. It is the remake of successful Marathi film, 'Time Pass'. We are planning to release the first look teaser this month and audio in the last week of April. We will release the film in the second week of May, completing all the formalities. Raj Madiraju directed 'Rushi' in our banner earlier and now he has prepared a very good script for 'Andhra Pori'. He completed the project in scheduled time and said budget. We produced this film with a good commitment and we are sure it will be successful". 

Director Raj Madiraju said, "I was born and brought up in Palwancha. So the people here supported us well. Prasad Productions is a banner with a history of 55 years. After not producing films for nearly 25 years, Ramesh Prasad produced my film 'Rushi' in 2011 and now he is producing 'Andhra Pori'. I am very thankful to him for giving me a second chance as director. 'Andhra Pori' is not only a very beautiful teenage love story, but also a very good family entertainer. We completed the film in a single schedule shooting for 32 days. We will start the post production work soon. J provided beautiful musical score. Though Puri Jagannadh is a star director, he believed in me and agreed to introduce Aakash Puri in my direction. Aakash is a very obedient actor and he knows his limits. He acted superbly infront of the camera. Though we considered many actresses for the heroine role, we felt Ulka Gupta will be the right choice after seeing her. She really did a very good job. Dr.J gave five beautiful songs and there are also two montage songs. Praveen Vanamali took the film to a new level with his cinematography. I thank everyone who supported me in completing this film in time". 

Cinematographer Praveen Vanamali said, "We have shot the film in the beautiful locations of Palwancha, Bhadrachalam and the surrounding areas, according to the story. Prasad Productions need no introduction. They are very quality minded. I thank Ramesh Prasad sir and director Raj Madiraj for giving me the opportunity to direct this film. Aakash Puri will be a super star for sure. He is doing every scene with perfection. Ulka Gupta also acted well. I thank everyone who supported me". 

Aakash Puri said, "I am love with Bhadrachalam, Palwancha and the surrounding areas. The people here supported us well in completing the project in time. I am thankful to Ramesh Prasad sir and Raj Madiraju for giving me this chance to play the lead in this movie". 

Poornima, Eeshwari Rao, Aravind Krishna, Srimukhi, Uttej, Abhinaya, Sri Teja etc acted in this film.
